ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER IN HAITI
Haiti is the most underserved country in the Americas when it comes to access to clean water and sanitation infrastructure. Over a half-million children in Haiti go without clean drinking water and shelter. Only around one-third of the population has access to proper sanitation.
Broken pipelines that have gone unrepaired since the earthquakes of 2010 and 2021 contribute to the lack of clean
accessible water. Safe drinking water has become Haiti’s most urgent public health problem as sewage in the drinking water causes the spread of cholera and keeps children from attending school.
With your help we can provide more children with access to clean water which will allow them to go to school and enrich their futures instead of needing to spend hours walking great distances to remote water sources.
