Many people of Haiti live without clean water, healthcare, education, food, or a bed to sleep in. It is not surprising that parents cannot afford the tuition needed to send their children to a private school. 

 That is why only 30% of the 62% that start school complete their education to sixth grade and only 30 % of those finish high school.

This means that 70% of the children do not complete their education through high school, but even then, most graduating students of Haiti have never used any form of technology.

Haiti has a literacy rate of 52.9 percent. The only possible immediate solution is for people to sponsor a child’s tuition so that burden is taken off the family. The key to progress and development for any country is education.
Doors remain closed to those who cannot read. The squaller that children are being educated in is unbelievable. Education is not a privilege; it is a necessity for a country to develop and grow and for children to survive.
